FAQ

What is included in the price quoted?

All electricity and gas during your stay plus linen and towels per person for a 1 week period. The property, decoration and furnishings will be in good condition, clean and tidy prior to arrival and all appliances will be in proper working order. Cleaning/change of linen can be arranged at an extra cost.

Can I stay less that 1 week?

Top Deck is usually available for weekly rentals from Saturday to Saturday. It is possible to accommodate short breaks of 3 or 4 days depending on availability. Prices for these are available as requested.

How much deposit do I pay and when is the balance due?

To secure your accommodation a minimum 30% deposit is required. The balance is due 10 weeks prior to arrival. Cancellation policy - please call.

Do I have to pay a security bond?

Yes, £150, which will be refunded in full on condition that the property is vacated in a clean and tidy condition with no breakages or damage.

What means of payment are acceptable?

Payment may be made by cheque, cash or bank transfer. Unfortunately we cannot accept credit cards.

Can I bring my dog with me?

No. Pets are not accommodated at Top Deck.

Can I smoke in the apartment?

No. This is part of the contractual agreement.

Is there a television or telephone?

No. A public phone is situated 5 minutes walk from Top Deck.

Do I need a car?

Top Deck is a ten minute walk from the high speed ferry terminal in Cowes so for sailing events based out of Cowes, a car is not necessary. Off-road parking is easily accessed in Arctic Road.

Is Top Deck wheelchair accessible?

Top Deck is a first floor apartment accessed up a metal stairway. It is not recommended for wheelchair users.

How long for Cowes Week?

Typically a minimum of 8 nights, arriving on the Friday evening before Cowes Week and departing on the Saturday morning the following week.
